Cairn Cross Discusses Brand Vermont

Cairn Cross, Co-Founder and Managing Director of FreshTracks Capital gave a presentation to The Vermont Venture Network (VVN). During the presentation, he made reference to our Chief Brandthropologist and our catchphrase for evolving brand Vermont “we must put one foot in the pasture and one foot in the future.”

Cairn has been a champion of small, innovative Vermont firms, and for the state to address challenges that startup companies face in raising capital. Along with Matthew Dodds, he was a person presenting to the legislature during the recent economic pitch day pull together by Vision to Action Vermont. He has also demonstrated that he has a keen eye for how to market a future facing Vermont through his “Peak Pitch” and “Road Pitch” venture capital initiatives.
